There are only a few weeks left of 2015 and while skimming through old Facebook posts, tweets and Instagram posts I found a few fails that either gave me a laugh or sparked a great deal of outrage and conversation.
Kylie Jenner has been the topic of many controversies in 2015, well lets face it, the whole family has been. Kylie’s lips, hair, booty, and anything else seem to cause a stir with the general population. The one that hit me the most was when she modelled for Interview Magazine, posing stiffly in a wheelchair. Yes, I know she probably didn’t make the choice to model in the wheelchair but the end result of these photos have left a lot of people boycotting the Kardashian/Jenner name fully.
Yeah…..I know. My one question is; how is a billionaire able to successfully own and run businesses but can’t seem to get his “hair” under control? Donald Trump is a nothing but controversy. From starting his campaign on the premise of hispanic hate and deportation to continuing with muslim labelling and documenting, reminiscent of our previous history nightmares. Personally, I haven’t ever liked this man and his political campaign has just strengthened my resolve.
I don’t quite know what Urban Outfitters is all about but they seem to know how to do the wrong thing at the wrong time. Kent University sweaters with faux bloodstains, eat less tank tops, and this t-shirt with Kurt Cobain’s suicide note are just a couple of the things that Urban Outfitters decided to sell. I’ve bought a couple things from UB in the past…way past but looking back at it now I wonder what the obsession was.
You may love her, you may hate her (I’m not a fan) but Kim Kardashian West has been just about everywhere you look this year. Her fame is constantly called into question and it seems even other celebrities have wondered as well. I could go on and list this years list of crazy Kim controversy but…that could take days and I don’t know if I have it in me.
Kanye West’s Line
Kanye West’s overall behaviour seems completely outrageous. When he unveiled is drab, layered, bodysuit filled “fashion line” it caused a lot of eyebrows to raise. I do understand that fashion is an expression of art, and I completely respect that but I think Kanye should have given it a different name. Something more along the lines of #thestruggleisreal or #brokestudentchic.
I can’t wait to see what 2016 has to offer.
